◊ Zuri ◊: Beauty to me is something that catches your eye and pleases your senses. It can be a person a place or thing, a touch a look a smell. Beauty saves beauty heals beauty motivates beauty unites. When my younger sister called from her wildlife management program in Africa, she described the people the land the animals all as ".... Zuri." which means beautiful in Swahili, I knew right away that would be the name of our new 2012 clothing line. Being beautiful or zuri isn't just on the outside, it's a lifestyle. It's using natural resources, it's recycling, it's supporting local farmers, it's kissing the one you love, it's smiling to strangers, and the sunsets, it's coming together as a community of this earth to save its beauty. Zuri wants u to feel beauty inside and out. I hope you’re as inspired as I am and enjoy following my (our) journey this March to create save and cherish beauty.
